Asante Kotoko left back, Imoro Ibrahim has stated he deserves to be handed a Black Stars call up following his consistent high level display this season.
The lanky lateral has been incredible for Kotoko and is arguably the best at his position in the league currently, having provided 8 assists so far making him the top assister in the league.
After helping the Porcupine Warriors win this year's league despite having few matches left, the 22 year old has declared himself ready for the Black Stars and believe his performance this season is enough to merit him a spot in the senior national team. He told Angel FM;
“I believe I deserve a call up into the Black Stars because it is not easy racking up 8 assists in the season but then I feel, maybe it’s not yet my time so I am still working hard toward that.”
Asante Kotoko will face Elmina Sharks for their coronation match this Sunday in GPL match-week 33 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
