Hearts of Oak head coach Samuel Boadu says he doesn't need a helping hand after achieving 'success' since taking over at the club.

Samuel Boadu signed for Hearts of Oak last year from Medeama to lead them to a domestic double.

The Phobians defended the MTN FA cup this season but failed to retain the league title.

Hearts of Oak Board Member, Dr Nyaho Nyaho Tamakloe, said thos week that: "I strongly doubt that the technical team can do well in Africa.

"Hearts of Oak is a big club and must always be in the hands of a big coach like Attiquayefio. I believe the current technical team can’t carry us far," on Angel FM.

Samuel Boadu, 36, insisted on Asempa FM that he doesn't need a helping hand.

"It's up to the board and management to decide but at the moment, I don't need a helping hand," he said.

"I am happy with my technical team. We have achieved success since joining the club so there is no need for a helping hand," he concluded.
