Francis Andy Kumi, the Kotoku Royals striker, has revealed that he did not feel any pressure while playing for Kumasi Asante Kotoko, despite his difficult stint with the club.

Kumi, who struggled to show his best form at Kotoko after joining from Unistar Soccer Academy, said in an interview with Ghanasportspage.com that he even wished matches were played every two days.

“I never played under pressure when I was in Kotoko. I even wanted our matches to be played in every two days. I wasn’t having any pressure and I wasn’t playing under pressure”

The striker arrived in Kumasi with high expectations after performing well in the Division One League, but scored only four goals in 16 games for the club.

Since joining Kotoku Royals in February from Bechem United, Kumi has become one of the best strikers in the current campaign, with nine goals in twelve Ghana Premier League games.

His impressive performances have reportedly caught the attention of Hearts of Oak, who are said to be in talks to sign the 23-year-old attacker.
