The 22-year-old centre-forward has returned to his parent club after a season-long loan spell at King Faisal FC.

Asante Kotoko young striker Ibrahim Osman is expected to commence preseason with the club ahead of their 2022/23 season's campaign.

Osman moved to Asante Kotoko's city rivals, King Faisal on a one season loan deal in October 2022 after extending his contract with the reigning Ghana Premier League champions.

The 2021/22 season was Ibrahim Osman's second loan spell at King Faisal after being farmed out to the ‘Insha Allah’ lads in 2019 where he scored 8 goals and made 3 assists in 14 matches before the league was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

He was a key member of the Asante Kotoko squad list for the 2020/21 season after a blistering start but his season ended abruptly due to a thigh injury which kept him out for several months.

Osman will be assessed by Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum and his technical team before a decision is taken either to include him in their squad list for the next season's campaign or loan him out again.

He scored six goals and provided two assists in his 25 Premier League appearances for King Faisal in the just ended season.

His current contract with Asante Kotoko will expire in May 2023.
