Hearts of Oak playmaker, Ibrahim Salifu has finally recovered from his almost six months injury which saw him missed majority part of last season but will still need a month on the sidelines for a complete rehabilitation.
The 22 year old has been out for over three months now, with his last injury happening against Karela United on May 30, 2022 at the Ohene Gyan Stadium- this was right after he had returned from the sideline when he had sustained an earlier injury in Anyinase against the same club.
His rehabilitation has been on for sometime now but the good news to the 'Phobians' this time is that, the metal on his foot has been taken off and will return into action very soon.
Reacting to his absence, head coach Samuel Boadu has confirmed he is now better and still on with his rehab to recover fully but is expecting him back in a month time.
"Salifu has started his rehabilitation and will be seen back on the pitch in a month time." He told the media after their 1-1 draw against arc rivals Asante Kotoko.
Hearts of Oak have just two points after three matches in the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League and will host Bibiani Goldstars in the capital this weekend.
