Medeama SC coach, Nebojsa Kapor has acknowledged the FC Samartex challenge ahead of their outstanding fixture in the midweek and is expecting nothing but a very tougher opposition from the champions.

This game was supposed to be a Ghana Premier League match-day 3 fixture but had to be rescheduled because of the Timber Giants run in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.

The 2023 GPL conquerors are very desperate to win back the title and had their perfect start and three-game winning streak halted over the weekend by Heart of Lions and will desperately be searching for a win this time to return on winning ways.

Speaking in a pre-match presser, the Bosnian tactician admitted he could make some changes in the line up from their last game and added they are very poised and positive for the enticing clash coming up.

"Me making changes in our line up will depend on our final training session on Tuesday because I have some solutions so maybe there could be something different. We must finish with preparations towards this match.

"Samartex are a perfect side coming from the Champions League. They took our title and we must give it to them on the pitch and this is an excellent opportunity and I'm very positive and in expecting an excellent match."

He furthered on by providing injury updates in their camp where confirmed goalkeeper Felix Kyei is most likely to return to the squad very soon.

"The medical team have assured us Kwabena Amoah and Felix Kyei could be part of the squad. Ebenezer Ackabi can also return except Prosper."

The game is slated for Wednesday, October at the new TnA Stadium at 18:00GMT.
