Legon Cities FC new-boy, Frederick Akatuk has dug deep into his adaptation since joining Legon Cities and feels it has been a swift one and hopes to get more goals as the season progresses.
The 21-year-old forward joined the Royals in the second-phase of the ongoing season from Benab FC and has been very remarkable and is currently a mainstay in the team.
His consistent stellar performances has seen him netted two goals in eight matches; against the top two Samartex FC and Nations FC.
Speaking in an interview with Kickgh.com, the enterprising forward has credited coach Paa Kwesi Fabin for his fast adaption at Legon Cities having given him enough time and was also patient to prove his worth.
He further indicated that, he is looking forward to score more in their subsequent games to help his side finish at a very good position after the season.
"So far things are moving well since joining Legon Cities. I have two goals in eight matches so I will say it hasn't been bad.
"With adaptation, I thought things were going to be difficult since I joined in the second round but Paa Kwesi Fabin has been really helpful, he gave me time and was very patient with me to settle well."
"I'm looking forward to score more goals going forward to help my team finish at a good position", he concluded
Frederick Akatuk will hope for another starting berth when they host Berekum Chelsea on Friday, April 26, 2024.
