Hearts of Oak's assistant coach, David Ocloo, expressed his "incredible feeling" following the team's 1-0 victory over Akim Oda Kotoku Royals.

The winning goal, scored by Caleb Amankwah in stoppage time, secured a crucial victory for Hearts of Oak, who had drawn their previous game against Bibiani Gold Stars.

Despite facing a relegation-threatened opponent, the game proved to be a tough challenge for Hearts of Oak. However, Amankwah's last-minute header secured the three points, much to the delight of the home fans and Ocloo himself.

Speaking to StarTimes after the game, Ocloo expressed his happiness and excitement at the result, stating that he knew it was going to be a difficult game.

He also praised the effort put in by the opposition team but commended Hearts of Oak for their "never say die" attitude. The win helped Hearts of Oak climb up the league table and boosted their confidence for future games.

“I feel elated, I feel excited. I told you it was going to be a difficult game. They are down so they will come with a multiple effort and that is what they did but kudos to John. He has done a great job but we are the never say die lads.”
