Franck Mbella has been a revelation and sensational in the Ghana Premier League and is leading the top scorers chart with twenty-one goals, one goal ahead of Ashanti Gold's Yaw Annor with two games to go in his debut season.
Supporters and connoisseurs alike have started comparing the Cameroonian striker to former Hearts of Oak talisman, Ishmael Addo, who was the GPL top scorer for three seasons and bagged in twenty-two goals in 2001.
Ishmael Addo won won the GPL, FA Cup, CAF Champions among a host of trophies.
Asante Kotoko have won the Ghana Premier League with two games to go and will host Elmina Sharks on Sunday.
Joseph Hendricks admits that it's too early to compare Franck Mbelle to Ishmael Addo.
"Mbella is a good striker but he's yet to meet quality defenders on the content. It's too early to compare him to Ishmael Addo who was consistent for Hearts of Oak for more than six seasons,” Joe Hendricks said.
