Heart of Lions head coach Bashir Hayford has acknowledged the difficulty of their upcoming Ghana Premier League Week 21 encounter against Asante Kotoko, set for Saturday, January 31, at the Kpando Sports Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the fixture, Hayford described the match as a stern test but expressed confidence in his squad’s ability to rise to the challenge.
“It is going to be a very tough game. We cannot underrate anyone. Kotoko are strong and back to their winning ways, but we are preparing very well to match them and aim for a positive result,” Hayford told Heart of Lions TV.
The Kpando-based side are seeking crucial points to get their season back on track, while Kotoko, currently third in the league, will be looking to extend their push for the Ghana Premier League title.
The fixture is scheduled to kick off at 3:30 pm, promising an exciting battle as both teams eye maximum points.
