Ghanaian champions Medeama SC have announced the signing of midfielder Michael Enu on a free transfer in the ongoing second transfer window.

Enu after a fruitful negotiations between both parties, agreed to ink a three-year deal which will keep him in Tarkwa until 2027.

The enterprising middleman has been one of the finest in the Ghanaian topflight in recent years and made 29 appearances last season for the Miners and had 3 goals to his belt including two man of the match accolades.

Speaking in his first interview, the lanky midfield anchor has expressed ecstasy after the move and has described it as a fantastic one and added Medeama SC is the best club currently in the country.

"This is a fantastic move for me and I can’t wait to get started in Tarkwa,” he told medeamasc.org

“I worked under assistant coach Nana Amankwah during my stint at Bibiani Gold Stars and so integrating into the team will be much easier.

“I am aware of the huge pedigree of this great club and the expectations ahead. Medeama is the best footballing side in Ghana at the moment and I’m eager to add to their rising stock.

“To be part of this great club is great for me and my career", he concluded

He's played only three matches this season and is hoping for more game time and subsequently establish himself as one of the fans favourite at the Akoon Park.

Medeama SC suffered an embarrassing 3-0 loss to Tanzanian champions Young Africans in the CAF Champions League, and currently have two defeats, a win and a draw after four games.

They are currently on the 13th position with 16 points and have just five wins so far after 11 matches, and have five games in hand to spare.
