Newly-signed Hearts of Oak striker, Kassim Cisse has stated with so much confidence that, they will bounce back stronger in the second phase of the 2023/24 GPL season.
The Ivorian gunman joined the 'Phobians' in the just-opened second transfer window on a free transfer as he is expected to add up more fire ammunition to the team's attack.
He's made two appearances already, having come on as a substitute against Great Olympics to mark his debut and also started and enjoyed full throttle in their vital 1-0 win over Bechem United last Saturday- their last fixture to close the first round.
Speaking in an interview with the club's official media, the lanky striker lauded the performance and character of the entire team and added they will be back on a higher note in their subsequent games.
“Our boys showed character and that is what made us win the game despite the penalty miss. We shall come back stronger after the break,” Kassim Cisse told the club’s media.
Hearts of Oak finished the first round on the 9th position with 21 points, having won only four, drawn nine- more than any other club with four loses.
The Rainbow Club will return into action on February 23, and will take on Real Tamale United at the Accra Sports Stadium in match-day 18.
