Dreams FC's General Manager, Ameenu Shadow, has expressed his delight at the return of striker Joseph Esso, noting that he will significantly enhance the team's capabilities.
Esso, who previously played for MC Alger in the Algerian top-flight league, has rejoined Dreams FC for a second spell after departing the Algerian outfit in August 2023.
Ameenu Shadow praised Esso's impact during his previous stint with Dreams FC, expressing confidence in his ability to contribute positively to the team's objectives.
"Joseph made a great impact on the team during his time here," said Ameenu Shadow. "He is a player we know very well, and we believe strongly he’ll be another great addition to the squad in achieving our targets."
Esso, known for his goal-scoring prowess, scored 11 goals during his initial spell with Dreams FC in the 2020/2021 season.
After joining MC Alger, Esso continued to impress, contributing seven goals and three assists in 18 games during the latter half of the 2020-21 campaign. Despite facing challenges in subsequent seasons, his return to Dreams FC is anticipated to reignite his form and bolster the team's performance in both domestic and continental competitions.
