Asante Kotoko midfielder, Justice Blay has described their win over Accra Lions as a morale booster for both they (the players) and the supporters and believes their presence against Aduana Stars will be really malleable on Friday.

The Porcupine Warriors managed to secure their first win of the season after narrowly defeating Accra Lions by 1-0 last Monday in Accra, kind courtesy Kalo Ouattara's late header.

Prior to the last round of matches, the 'Kum Apem' lads were lurking at the bottom of the league table with just a point, having drawn twice and lost one in their opening three games.

However, Blay, who has been injured and out of action since the start of the new campaign returned to play a part against the Blue-Blacks, looking fully fit now and more poised for more playing time in their subsequent matches.

In an interview, the combative midfielder says they will need their supporters to come in their numbers to rally behind them come Friday since that's the only motivation they need at the moment heading into the game against Aduana Stars.

"The players are excited, we are all happy and we are very motivated."

"This will inspire us for the home game so we can win because the supporters will come out in numbers following our win. We need them so we can be inspired to beat Aduana in our next game," he added.

"We are pleading with the fans to come for the game against Aduana."

The game is slated for 18:00GMT on Friday, October 13, at the Baba Yara Stadium.
