Head Coach of Karela United, Shaibu Tanko has admitted Kotoko is a big club and will anticipate a tougher opposition from them but added they will have to put in extra efforts to grind maximum points today.
The ex- RTU gaffer took over in Anyinase just recently to replace out-gone Bismark Kobby Mensah who left his role months ago.
Coming up against the champions this afternoon, the 'Pride and Passion' will have to play their hearts out to secure victory to win the trust of their supporters and also enhance their survival chances.
In an interview with Happy FM in Accra, the Director of Sports at University for Development Studies lecturer knows it will be a difficult game but is very hopeful of a win today.
"Nowhere cool, everywhere is difficult except you know how to handle these difficulties. Kotoko is a big club by all standards but on the field of play, it is between us and we are looking first to it,” he said on Happy FM.
“The club and I are putting in the necessary structures to first and foremost escape relation. That is our first objective and we will try to attain it within the shortest possible time of my contract” he added.
