Asante Kotoko head coach Abdul Karim Zito says his target is to win both the Ghana Premier League and the FA Cup this season.
The Porcupine Warriors are currently fifth on the league table with 35 points from 21 matches, eight points behind leaders Medeama SC, and have struggled for consistency in recent weeks.
Kotoko will face Aduana FC this weekend in the FA Cup Round of 16 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Speaking ahead of the match, Zito said the team must be fully focused and avoid the mistakes that have cost them points in the league.
“Definitely, we have to win that game (against Aduana FC). We don’t have any excuse because my main objective is to win the league or the FA Cup, or even the double,” the former Black Satellites coach said.
“So definitely, I have to work hard because we cannot afford to lose to Aduana,” he added.
After the FA Cup tie, Kotoko will turn their attention to the Ghana Premier League, where they host rivals Hearts of Oak in the Matchday 22 Super Clash at the Baba Yara Stadium on February 15.
