Bechem United boss Kasim Mingle has hailed his side's incredible performance, but could not conceal his agony after watching his side miss out on the Ghana Premier League title this season on the final match day.

The Hunters lost their final clash against Aduana Stars by a scoreline of 1-0. Isaac Mintah scored the only goal of the match.

Despite cutting the point to lead the table at one point in time, Mingle's side nod off in the latter stages of the season.

Speaking to the media after the Aduana clash, The former Great Olympics coach blamed his team's inability to clinch the title on hard luck.

“It’s unfortunate we couldn’t win. The way we played we thought we would have won.

“This season we played better than last season and should have won the league,” the Bechem United coach said.

While Bechem didn't win the league, their performance this season showed that Mingle is the right man to take the Hunters to the land of milk and honey in the years to come as they ended the season on third position with 54 points.
