According to Bechem United coach Kassim Mingle, he has faith that his team can win the Ghana Premier League title.
On Saturday, Hafiz Wontah Konkoni's well-taken spot-kick in the first half was the difference as Bechem United hosted Accra Hearts of Oak at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park.
The victory elevates the Hunters to the second position on the league table, just three points behind leaders Aduana, who play defending champions Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
Mingle believes that the three crucial points his team secured in the match make him optimistic about their chances of winning the league title.
He told StarTimes after the game: "It is very important for us to come back in contention for the league title. Of course, yes, we are in contention for the league title. We've beaten the former champions. We beat Kotoko, we beat Hearts of Oak, we beat Medeama. All those above us we've beaten all of them so we can win."
Bechem United's next game is away to King Faisal on April 26, 2023.
