Giants Asante Kotoko and some other Ghana Premier League clubs are chasing Skyy FC forward Baba Hamadu Musah who has been outstanding for the past years for the Daboase-based side.
The lanky forward has been amazing and consistent at the St Martin's Park, having finished as the top scorer of the 2022/23 Division One League with 20 goals- the highest in the competition history. He topped up with 11 assists and seven MVPs.
His heroics couldn't earn Skyy FC qualification into the topflight as they finished second behind Nations FC in zone two.
In the ongoing DOL Super Cup of which they are the defending champions, Baba Hamadu has netted three goals in two matches so far and will hope to score more in their subsequent games.
After scoring the only goal to propel his side to a narrow win over Young Apostles last Wednesday, the elite striker disclosed he's had lots of offers on board including one from Kotoko and is contemplating with his management on his next move which could be finalized by next week. He told Takoradi-based Connect FM;
"Yes is true l have received a lot of offers from clubs and am discussing it with my management for a possible move”
"By the end of this week, I will make a decision on the team I will play in the upcoming season.
"About 6 to 7 teams have called me for my service, Kotoko, Nations FC, Heart of Lions, Dreams FC, among others have all called."
"But I can tell you that I won’t play in Division One League again, it was my target to win the goal king in Division One, and with the help of God, my teammates and fans I was able to win the goal king in Division One, so I can say that for now my work at Division One is done, my job at Division One is 90% done."
Skyy FC after picking wins in their first two matches, will wrap up the first phase against Nzema Kotoko in their final group game of the competition.
