Head coach of Asante Kotoko, Prosper Narteh Ogum has lauded the unique qualities of the club's new signing in the ongoing transfer window.
Asante Kotoko on Friday announced the acquisition of former Aduana Stars striker Isaac Mintah to bolster their attacking options for the title-chasing campaign.
Mintah, who has been unattached since early 2024 after leaving the Dormaa-based Premier League outfit, has officially signed a two-and-a-half year contract with the Porcupine Warriors.
The 26-year-old attacker was announced by Asante Kotoko as the club's new signing after passing a mandatory medical examination earlier today in Kumasi.
Prosper Narteh describes Isaac Mintah as exceptional striker
Asante Kotoko coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed his delight with the arrival of the prolific striker: “Isaac is an exceptional forward who knows how to make things happen in the final third,”.
“His eye for goal and ability to link up with teammates make him a perfect fit for our style of play. We’re excited to have him onboard and look forward to seeing him do well for us.”
Mintah lit up the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season with a sensational run of form, scoring nine goals and providing three assists in just 11 matches.
He was once invited to the Ghana's Black Galaxies team for the CHAN tournament preparations.
