The head coach of Asante Kotoko, Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum, has reassured fans that his team is dedicated to improving their goal-scoring abilities.

This assurance came following a recent match against Medeama SC in the Ghana Premier League's Week 28 fixture.

In their encounter at the Akoon Park, Asante Kotoko faced off against Medeama SC but failed to capitalize on numerous scoring opportunities, ultimately settling for a 1-1 draw. Despite the disappointment of missed chances, Coach Prosper Narteh Ogum expressed optimism about his team's progress.

Addressing the media in his post-match interview, Coach Ogum lamented the team's inability to convert chances but emphasized their commitment to rectifying this issue. He highlighted the ongoing efforts in training aimed at enhancing goal-scoring efficiency.

"It's been a recurring theme throughout the season. We generate numerous opportunities, but the conversion rate remains a concern. Fortunately, our training sessions have shown improvement in this aspect," remarked Coach Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum.

Looking ahead, Asante Kotoko will face Legon Cities FC in their upcoming match, scheduled to take place at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Friday. The team aims to harness their training progress and secure a positive outcome in the forthcoming fixture.
