Following Kotoko's 1-0 loss to Nsoatreman FC at the Nana Professor Amoah Koromansah II Park on Thursday, some disgruntled fans took to social media to express their dissatisfaction with manager Prosper Narteh Ogum.
These fans are of the opinion that the manager holds a grudge against certain players who were signed by the previous administration, leading to their exclusion from the team.
According to these fans, the likes of Justice Blay, Enoch Morrison, Baba Yahaya, and Eric Serge Zeze possess greater abilities compared to the players favoured by Ogum. It is believed that this biased team selection is hindering the team's performance.
It is worth noting that Kotoko has been unable to secure a victory in their last three games, with draws against Nations FC and Bechem United before losing to Nsoatreman FC.
Currently, Kotoko sits in 9th place on the league table with 10 points. Their upcoming match against Dreams FC at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday will be a crucial opportunity for them to turn their fortunes around.
The fans' demand for the inclusion of more experienced players reflects their desire for a stronger team and improved results. However, it remains to be seen how the management will address these concerns and how it will impact upcoming team selections and performances on the field.
