Sampson Eduku, whose contract with Tamale City expired at the end of the 2022/23 football season, has caught the attention of five Ghana Premier League clubs, including Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak.
Eduku's impressive performance during the last season has made him a sought-after forward in the domestic top-flight league. He revealed that offers from the following clubs have been presented for his services: Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, Medeama, and Dreams FC.
Speaking to Community FM, Eduku mentioned that despite receiving calls from various teams during the season, he remained focused on finishing the season with Tamale City. However, now that the season is over, he is considering the offers from these clubs.
Asante Kotoko and Hearts of Oak are set for a fierce competition in securing Eduku's signature, alongside the newly promoted Nations FC and established clubs Medeama and Dreams FC.
"A lot of teams are after me. There were calls during the season seeking my services, but we didn't pay much attention as the season was not over. Currently, Kotoko, Hearts of Oak, Nations FC, Medeama, Dreams FC, and others have contacted me regarding my services. We are considering offers from the clubs."
Eduku had an impressive record during the just-ended season, netting 14 goals for Tamale City, despite the club's unfortunate relegation.
In his football career, Sampson Eduku has previously played for Elmina Sharks, Sekondi Hasaacas, Samartex, Karela United, and Club Industrielle de Kamasar in Guinea.
