The ex Reds' chief wants his side to get the experienced stopper onto their books following his release by their sworn-rivals in this current Ghanaian top-flight campaign

Asante Kotoko should sign experienced and tough centre-back Mohammed Alhassan in the next transfer window, with the Kumasi-based outfit told the capturing of the 30-year-old guardsman will help their cause this term.

After parting company with Hearts of Oak, the former WAFA SC defender is now into the free agent pool and could easily be snap up by the record league champions should he be poached by them.

And now, the ex-Kotoko affable football administrator is urging his side to go for the dependable stopper as he has what it takes to bring stability in their leaky defensive set-up in the ongoing top-flight contest.

“If Kotoko are able to sign Mohammed Alhassan, he will help the team,'' the Lord of the green turf as affectionately called by fans during his active playing days told Kumasi-based Oyerepa FM

''He has a rich experience and he will augment the back line if he joins.Kotoko need a tough and experience defender to guide and control the back seat,'' he added.

Alhassan has a vast experience on the local scene having had stints with Hearts of Oak and WAFA SC so far in the summit of Ghanaian football competition.
