Stop-gap coach of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Michael Osei, has stated that the ongoing Ghana Premier League has been very competitive and attractive so far.

The under-fire manager says he disagrees with the sports minister's claims that the current league campaign is unattractive.

The former New Edubiase assistant gaffer believes the country stands the better chance to achieve more if young and talented players are nurtured well in order to attain greater heights in their football career.

"I'll never agree with the minister that the league is not attractive considering the competitiveness of the ongoing league campaign. This season's league has been one of the most competitive and attractive league in country so far," Osei told the press.

"I think we have the talent and should they get the chance in harnessing their skills, I suppose our football game will develop well to the greater height. I Personally have enjoyed the league very well so far."

Kotoko drew 0-0 with Berekum Chelsea at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on match day 28 of the GPL.
