Steven Mukwala, the striker for Asante Kotoko, expressed his excitement about his partnership up front with Brazilian teammate Matheus de Souza.
The two players scored in Kotoko's 4-0 win over RTU at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on April 2, 2023. Mukwala scored two goals, while de Souza netted Kotoko's fourth goal in his second start in the Premier League.
Mukwala won the MVP award for the game and believes that their partnership will be deadly.
"We have a good relationship, me and de Souza, so we communicate every day, which makes it easy for us to perform on the pitch," he told StarTimes.
On April 5, 2023, Kotoko will face King Faisal at the Baba Yara Stadium in their outstanding Premier League match.
