Former Asante Kotoko captain Daniel Nii Adjei has tipped Prosper Ogum's side to dominate the upcoming Super Clash against Hearts of Oak.

Nii Adjei, who played for Kotoko from 2007 to 2012, has backed his former side to secure a win against Aboubakar Ouattara's men on Sunday.

“Even though Kotoko and Hearts are playing at their best now, their rivalry will always be fascinating," Nii Adjei told Kumasi-based Akoma FM.

“On the day of the game, everyone will witness how the supporters will turn up in large numbers to support their players. I’ll say as a Kotoko supporter that Kotoko is the favourite to win this game.

“Form guides have no bearing on games involving these two teams. The team that plays with aggression and doesn’t hesitate to take risks typically wins. As a former player and Kotoko fan, I hope Kotoko prevails on Sunday.”

Kotoko currently sit in tenth place in the Premier League table - after accruing 40 points into their coffers - while Hearts of Oak are down in twelve place, with nothing to represent a chance of winning any silverware this term.
