The deputy operations manager of Kumasi Asante Kotoko Alhaji Ali Maradona has rubbished reports that the Kumasi-based club will contract the services of a Technical Director as it is being circulated in the media.

He thinks as a member of the current Management of the club there is no need to bring any Technical Director to help  Michael Osei

Alhaji Ali Maradona is of the view that no interim Management team will contract a Technical Director as the season is coming to an end with only eight (8) matches left to play.  He said this contrary to what is going rounds in the media. "We're not bringing any Technical Director at this time of the season" he told  Kumasi-based Metro FM.

The Kumasi-based club has been under pressure from their supporters as a result of abysmal performance in recent matches and most of the supporters believe it is the head coach who needs to be assisted technically to lift the club from the 5th position to a more respectable position on the log sheet.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko has won nine (9) matches out of twenty two (22) games, drew six (6) and lost seven (7) matches with total of thirty three (33) points in the ongoing Ghana premier league. A section of the club supporters are blaming Michael Osei and his Technical team for the poor performance while others believe the internal wranglings between the Board of Directors and the Management members of the club is the sole reason behind their poor performance in the league.
