Ghana Premier League match day seven clash between hosts Kotoku Royals and Samartex has been rescheduled to tomorrow (Thursday) at 10:00am after it was truncated by heavy downpour at the Cape Coast stadium which rendered it unplayable.
By the time of stoppage, the score line was 0-0, with Kotoku Royals continuing their struggle in the top tier.
The Royals led through an entertaining game but failed to capitalize on the rare chances presented to them by the away side.
Samartex battled well in the second half as they were on their way to earn a point following five consecutive draw stalemates and two straight defeats.
The result leaves Kotoku Royals in sixteenth place in the Ghana Premier League, while Samartex are one place behind them with the same point.
It is unclear if the match will be rescheduled to Friday as was likely to have been done under ordinary circumstances.
