Former Nsoatreman FC winger Kwabena Adu Meider is on the verge of completing a transfer to Ghana Premier League side Karela United, Kickgh.com has learned.
The 22-year-old who previously featured for Legon Cities, arrived in Sunyani this week to finalise talks with Karela United officials.
However, the flanker will be offered a three-year contract as the Pride and Passion side moves to sharpen its attacking arsenal for the upcoming season.
Kickgh.com understands that earlier talks with Hearts of Oak have broken down, clearing the way for Karela to secure his services ahead of the new campaign.
Meider, known for his pace and trickery down the flanks, is expected to add dynamism to Karela’s forward line as the club looks to improve on last season’s 12th-placed finish.
The deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days as negotiations have reached an advanced stage, with only paperwork and final details left before the transfer is announced.
