Kwame Opoku, marked his return to Asante Kotoko on a higher note having scored on his debut against Bibiani Goldstars and added he felt no pressure heading into the game.
The Porcupine Warriors extended their winning streak to four solid games after a precious 2-0 win over the Miners last Friday in the opening fixture of GPL match-week 15 at the Baba Yara Stadium.
Kwame, rejoined his former club Kotoko just recently after some spells abroad and already marked it in style having gotten on the scoresheet on his debut - scoring in the 74th minute after Justice Blay had already put them in front from a spot-kick.
Speaking for the first time since scoring, the lethal striker said they knew how difficult the game against Goldstars will be because they are a good side but further stated he was not in any kind of pressure reason he had a good debut.
"Because of what coach told me, I felt no pressure when I walked onto the pitch. It was just a normal feeling."
"We knew Goldstars were a very good side, not only them but all clubs in the league so we expected a tough game and only had to play together as a team."
Kwame Opoku, in subsequent matches will hope for more goals to help Asante Kotoko in their quest to winning their 25th league title.
