The Miners were officially declared champions over the weekend after humiliating Accra Lions by an emphatic 4-0 in their final game of the season at the Dun's Park

Abdul Farouk Amoaful opened the scoring account in just four minutes from kickoff before Kelvin Oppong added to hand them a 2-0 lead at half-time.

Two other second half goals from Attah Kumi and Frank Amankwah sealed the victory to confirm them officially as champions

The Yellow-Greens finished the campaign with 63 points, three better than their direct rivals Nations FC who unfortunately lost their last game by 0-2 on home soil

Speaking after securing their first ever topflight title, the enterprising administrator reiterated that they strong financial backing ahead of their Africa campaign and will do everything to leave a mark at the continental showpiece

"Bibiani GoldStars is being supported by a mining company, and we will go to Africa. Individuals have been able to spend on clubs at the African stage, so we will go to Africa," he told Asempa FM.

"We will improve the team and make sure we leave a mark in Africa," he added.

Bibiani Goldstars will represent Ghana in the 2025/26 CAF Champions League starting from the qualifying round
