Legon Cities are languishing in eighteenth place in the Ghana Premier League, but head coach Paa Kwesi Fabin urged patience and stressed that it would be fatal for the club to doubt themselves so early in the 2024-25 season.

Under Fabin, who was appointed coach in August 2023, Cities have secured only one point in six league games on the road this season.

Fabin said Cities will work towards improving their form, but added they have implemented certain training conditions going into their next game against Berekum Chelsea away at the Golden City Park on Sunday.

"Our performance is nothing to write home about. I have played six matches without a win...," Fabin said in his pre-game interview.

"The only one draw I don't think is good enough. So we are working hard around the club to change the narrative.

“By implementing certain conditions at training, we will try to see what happens. So we are working on it, and we believe very soon things will turn around.

“Sometimes, in a league situation, it happens, so they should not abandon us; they should stay behind us and support us so that we can come back strongly," he concluded.
