Legon Cities coach Paa Kwesi Fabin felt his side were hit with the unfairness gavel by referee Foster Nkuenyenutsu Bastious during Sunday's 3-1 loss to Berekum Chelsea in a matchday seven fixture of the 2024-25 Ghana Premier League.

The Royals, after six rounds of matches - with an outstanding game in the loop for them - have draw just a game to secure just one point, losing five times.

Nonetheless, the experienced trainer of the capital side had mixed emotions about his side's defeat, having dished out 'their best' on the field of play.

“I will plead with referees in the Ghana Premier League to be fair to us. We were denied a clear penalty after the equalizing goal and these are game changers” he said.

Legon Cities are lurking on the foot of the league table (18) with one point, while Berekum Chelsea are currently 3rd with 10 points.
