The former West African Football Academy talismanic forward has made a return to the Ghana Premier League with a move to the Royals after an unsuccessful spell at ES Setif.
Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities have completed the signing of Daniel Lomotey on a free transfer on the transfer deadline day.
The 23-year-old has been unattached his contract with Algerian top-tier side ES Setif was terminated after only six months.
He was deemed as surplus to requirements by the technical handlers of ES Setif following his uninspiring performance at the club.
He was linked with a move to two-time Ghana Premier League side Aduana Stars prior to the start of the 2022/23 season's campaign but the move hit snag due to an injury.
Lomotey's last spell in the Ghanaian top-flight league was with the Academy Boys in the 2020/21 season where he netted eight goals in the first round before leaving for ES Setif in Algeria.
