Hearts of Oak's head coach, Martin Koopman, is urging his players to shake off their pre-season complacency.
The Dutchman acknowledges that they had an excellent pre-season campaign, but he wants his team to be aware that the Premier League will present tougher challenges.
Martin Koopman emphasized the need to avoid overconfidence while commenting on Hearts of Oak's narrow victory over Nsoatreman FC.
"The pre-season was good, but it is not a guarantee for a successful league campaign, so I think all together we deserved the three points [against Nsoatreman]," Martin Koopman said in an interview with StarTimes.
