Bibiani Goldstars are back in the top four of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League race following a home victory over Nsoatreman FC on Wednesday afternoon.
The Miners returned to winning ways with a 2-0 home victory over Nsoatreman FC in their Ghana Premier League match-week 19 encounter at the Dun's Park in Bibiani
The home side commenced the fixture on the good note as they exercised their attacking muscles to register two goals in the first half of the game.
In-form striker Abednego Tetteh, who joined Bibiani Goldstars last month, continued his blistering performance for the club with his eighth goal of the season on the 16th minute of the game.
Tetteh snatched the opener for Bibiani Goldstars with a fine strike before diminutive midfielder Godfred Kyei doubled their lead on the stroke of halftime.
Bibiani Goldstars returned from the tunnel with hopes of banging more goals in the second half but the back line of Nsoatreman FC were resolute to deny them from scoring again.
Nsoatreman FC could be found guilty for squandering the set-pieces awarded to them in the second department of the game as it ended in a 2-0 win for Bibiani Goldstars.
Bibiani Goldstars have moved up to fourth position with 30 points while Nsoatreman FC lies 12th position with 24 points after nineteen games.
