Bibiani Goldstars played their hearts out earlier today to hold leaders Aduana Stars to a 0-0 draw in the last fixture of match-week 11 of the Ghana Premier League.

Coach Michael Osei made three changes from the team that secured a vital point last week in Berekum, notably goalkeeper Joseph Baah who chipped in for Nii Kalala.

However, after missing out on the final CHAN squad, Bright Adjei returned to the team and is part of the five changes made by coach Paa Kwasi Fabin in his starting line up.

Top striker Justus Torsutsey couldn't recover from the Injury he picked against Kotoko, hence had to be excluded so as experience Emmanuel Gyamfi, Kwame Adom Frimpong and others.

It was really a difficult game for both sides with Bibiani Goldstars starting off on a good note, doing much of possession but without any dangerous goal attempts.

The Fire Boys later settled down, and also took the game at their hosts where they managed to create some chances but couldn't make it count.

Both teams defended so well especially the home side in the dying embers of the game, with game finishing goalless after full time.

This will be Aduana Star's second straight draw after sharing spoils with champions Kotoko last week but will still maintain their lead at the summit of the table with 21 points.

Michael Osei's men on the other hand, would have wished to climb into the top four but will delayed for this week as they currently occupy the 5th position with 18 points, despite having their unbeaten run extended to seven.

Aduana Stars will host Kotoku Royals, whereas Goldstars travel to Great Olympics in the next round of games, all on Thursday, January 12, 2022
