Following the suspension of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season due to a High Court Injunction, Asante Kotoko were engaged in a friendly against the lower-tier side to keep the team in shape.

Asante Kotoko will be playing their city rivals King Faisal in match-week four fixture at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium before traveling to Bechem United for an outstanding game.
