Second half goals from Augustine Okrah and Cephas Mantey ensured Bechem United their second victory of the 2023/24 Ghana Premier League season against Berekum Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.
Bechem United returned to winning ways with a 2-0 win over Berekum Chelsea in their match-week six encounter at the Nana Fosu Gyeabour Park in Bechem.
Coach Bismark Kobi-Mensah made four changes in his line up with Emmanuel Annor, Emmanuel Avoryno, Seth Osei Kwadwo and Augustine Okrah earning starting berth.
The first half of the game was balanced with both teams having few incursions but no goal was produced as it ended in a dull draw.
In the second half, Bechem United exercised their attacking muscles in the last thirty minutes of the second half to register two goals.
In the 63rd minute minute, Okah brilliantly opened the scoring for the Hunters with a fine strike before Mantey climbed off the bench to conclude their victory with a cool finish in the dying embers of the game.
Bechem United have moved to 12th position with seven points after today's win over Chelsea while the ‘Biribes’ occupies 11th position with same points.
