Dreams FC commenced their 2022/23 Ghana Premier League campaign with an important away win over Bibiani Goldstars at the Dun's Park.

Bibiani Goldstars suffered a painful 1-0 home loss to Dreams FC in the match-week one of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League on Sunday afternoon.

 
Bibiani Goldstars had a good start in the first half, enjoying majority of the possession but none of their efforts earned them the opener.
 
Dreams FC defense was busy throughout the first half as Lord Bawa Martey was forced to make a save on the 16th minute to deny Steven Owusu from netting the opener for the host.
 
Dreams FC looked resolute at the back to hold Bibiani Goldstars to a scoreless draw in the first half of the game.
 
Back from the break, Coach Ignatius Osei-Fosu entered with a different tactical approach of 4-3-3 which eventually gave them the opener before the hour-mark.
 
Midfielder Blessing Dana snatched the opener for Dreams FC with a long-range strike which deflected off Samuel Amofa into the back of Goldstars' net on the 56th minute of the game.
 
Bibiani Goldstars continued their impressive performance despite being a goal down with the hopes of levelling the score before the final whistle.
 
However, Dreams FC dealt with every inroads from the attackers of Bibiani Goldstars as Prince Owusu came close to grab the equalizer for the home side but it went straight into the palms of Lord Bawa Martey.
 
Bibiani Goldstars tried their lucks severally with long-range strikes but none of their efforts earned them a goal as the fixture ended in a 1-0 win for Dreams FC.
