Great Olympics have deepen the woes of King Faisal after narrowly edging them out by 1-0 earlier today at the Ohene Gyan Stadium in week 3 of the 2022/23 GPL season.
The host started the game as the dominant side, having taken the game under their control leaving their opponents chasing shadows with no any dangerous incursions in the opening minutes.
King Faisal looked completely off in the first department, mostly packed at the back and were always exchanging passes among themselves with no any good final product.
In the second half, the 'Dade' outfit came in stronger and continued with their dominance in a quest to snatch the opener.
Finally, their constant pressure yielded them the needed results after taking the lead on the 65th minute through Emmanuel Mensah who scored with a cool finish.
The 'Insha Allah' outfit from then, begun to get on really well in the game and mounted so much which nearly got them the equaliser in the last ten minutes but Elias Elias couldn't get make it count from a close range
It finished 1-0 for Great Olympics after full time, having snatched their victory to cruise into the top four.
King Faisal return to Kumasi with yet another painful defeat, having lost their opening three matches so far in the league.
