Hamidu Fatawu scored the only goal in a dominant display at home against Berekum Chelsea.
The 24-year-old poked home in the 34th minute from a set piece which later panned out to be the only goal and match winner.
Quick-fire strikes from the away side failed to lob home as their plan to snatch at least a point did not materialize.
The victory lifts Medeama up to sixth (31 points) while Berekum Chelsea are 9th on 28 points.
