Karela United recorded their third victory of the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League season after pipping Bechem United on Sunday afternoon.
A first half strike from Enoch Agblenyo propelled Karela United to a 1-0 home win over Bechem United at the Crosby Awuah Memorial Park in Aiyinase.
The game was delayed for several minutes due to heavy downpour in the Western Region.
Karela United commenced the fixture on a good note as they took an advantage of the wetted pitch to stage an intense pressure on the visitors in the early minutes.
The impressive performance of Karela United earned them the opener through Enoch Agblenyo on the 29th minute of the game.
Bechem United had opportunities to level the score after the hour-mark but goalkeeper Felix Kyei denied them with brilliant saves.
In the second half, the game failed to produce additional goals despite the five-star performance displayed by Coach Kassim Mingle's charges.
Karela United were resolute at the back to deal with every inroads from the fearsome upfront of Bechem United.
The game ended in a 1-0 win for Karela United.
