Three-goal thriller at the Baba Yara Stadium as Kotoko humble Nsoatreman FC by 2-1 to hand them their first ever defeat in the Ghana Premier League. 

The champions right from onset mounted so much pressure on the visitors which eventually got them a penalty in just 12 minutes from kickoff.

Stephen Amankona who won the kick elected himself for it and placed into the bottom corner to snatch the lead. His first goal for Kotoko. 
 
Mubarik Yussif who has been outstanding for Kotoko in recent times sustained an injury on the 16th minute and made way for Andrews Appau.
 
Nsoatreman FC broke on the 20th minute after Walid Fuseini Neymar made a good run trying to penetrate his way into the opposition territory but was denied.
 
In the second half, Kotoko returned on a strong note to double their lead after just two minutes from the break through Isaac Oppong who scored with a cool finish. 
 
Just three minutes after, the visitors pulled one back through Phillip Ofori who scored with towering header from a corner kick.
 
On the 65th minute, the travellers were given a free kick at a very advantageous position but delivery was blocked by the human wall.
 
Kotoko love to exchange passes among themselves at some point to preserve their lead whiles Nsoatreman always pushed into attack anytime they have the ball in search for the leveller.
 
After 90 + 3 minutes, referee brought the game to an end. Kotoko with their first win of the season.
