RTU recovered from their last league loss (a 1-0 loss to Bibiani Gold Stars) to climb up on the summit as they dispatched the visiting Kotoku Royals with a 3-2 win at the Aliu Mahama Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
25-year-old midfielder Baba Kushibo was on hand - breaking the virginity of the game in the 8th minute, before Issah Kuka added the second goal in the 58th minute mark, with Yusif Nurudeen bagging the 3rd goal to help move RTU to the 9th spot on the log.
Kotoku pulled two back in the 62nd and 85th minute respectively. The defeat has intensified their drop status by gripping them to their usual 18th spot with 4 points.
