Wonder Club, Accra Great Olympics, continued their sloppy Premier League survival run with an avertible lone goal succumbing to Goldstars at the Bibiani Dun’s Park on Sunday afternoon.
In a game that was largely dictated by Agorsu’e, Godfred Kyei’s 19th minute goal ended up being the major difference as the home side held on to it for the crucial win.
The win overturned a fourth straight defeat which saw the mining club improve their tally to 41 points, and have gasped forward to the 7th spot.
On the other hand, relegation besieged Wonder club under Coach Kobby Mensah at the helm dropped to the second relegation spot (17th) on 35 points with the loss as they have recorded an overall two wins, two defeats and one draw in their last five games.
Olympics will have the chance to secure their stay at home next Sunday, as hosts of another relegation infested Kotoku Royals.
