Karela returned to winning ways as they doll-out a brilliant second-half display to beat Samartex 1-0 at the Crosby Awuah Park.
The goal came right on the stroke of halftime (45+4) through Richard Berko, who expertly nodded home to snatch all the points at stake for the Pride and Passion.
Samartex played with more purpose and intensity after the break as they looked hungry in search of the equalizer, but all their lion heart goal hunting proved futile as they surrendered the win to the home side after full time.
Shaibu Tanko sees his men climb to 11th - on 32 points - while a Samartex side who tormented the Passioner’s steadily and even made sure they received a red card in the 54th minute - stay ninth on 33 points.
