King Faisal’s midfielder, Samuel Antwi's goal made it a sweet win for Jimmy Cobblah’s team by scoring the only goal in a 1-0 victory over Tamale City in the Ghana Premier League on Sunday.
The season’s woes continued for Coach Hamza Mohammed and his Tamale City as they succumbed to the defeat at the Baba Yara Stadium in match-day 13.
It was an afternoon full of scintillating soccer display by the youthful players of both teams - with King Faisal creating and blowing up the best scoring opportunities as Tamale City defense stood tall to absorb the pressure as they got stunned by just a goal.
Midfielder Samuel Antwi’s 45+2’ minute goal courtesy of a defensive blunder on the part of the visiting Citizens was all the ‘Insha Allah’ boys needed to seize all three points as they improved to 11th on 17 points whilst struggling Tamale City position on the log, second but last - did not change as they remained 17th on 11 points.
