Tamale City bounced back from Wednesday's draw at Samartex with a convincing 3-0 win over fellow relegation dwellers - Kotoku Royals at Aliu Mahama Stadium.

City striker Sampson Eduku opened the scoring in the 29th minute. It was a swash-and-buckle affair as he expertly notched home to put his side ahead.

Matthew Agama then doubled the lead before half-time (45th minute). However, after recess, both sides unleashed men upfront, but it was the Citizens who dished out an entertaining match winning second-half display.

Justice Mensah made it 3-0 on the 70 minute mark as City consolidated the seventeenth spot with 15 points on the table while Kotoku still lurks on the eighteenth spot with 10 points.
